What is TestFlight?

TestFlight is Apple's service for testing an app before it goes on the App Store. A developer uploads a build to App Store Connect and invites testers, who install it with the TestFlight app on their iPhone. It needs a membership in the Apple Developer Program.

More about TestFlight

Testers can be up to 100 people on your own App Store Connect team, or up to 10,000 outside testers invited by email or a public link. Builds for outside testers get a short beta review from Apple first, and each build can be tested for 90 days.

TestFlight with Borel

When you publish from Borel, Xcode builds and signs your app on Borel's Mac and uploads it to App Store Connect. Once Apple has processed the build, it shows up in TestFlight, and you can submit it for review from the same window in Borel.
