What is a native app?

A native app is built for one platform with that platform's own language and tools: on iPhone, that means Swift or Objective-C with Apple's frameworks, compiled by Xcode. It runs directly on the device, with full use of the system's controls and features.

More about Native app

Native apps use the iPhone's own buttons, lists, gestures and animations, so they look and feel like the rest of iOS and pick up new system designs. They reach features such as Face ID, the camera, Apple Maps and In-App Purchase without a layer in between.

Native app with Borel

Every app Borel builds is a native iPhone app, written in Swift with SwiftUI and compiled with Xcode, not a website in an app frame. It uses Apple's own frameworks, from LocalAuthentication for Face ID to MapKit and StoreKit.
