- What Borel is
- Borel (borel.one) is an AI builder for native iPhone apps. You describe an app in plain English; Borel writes it in Swift with SwiftUI, and Xcode builds it on Borel's own Mac.
- Devices
- Apps are made for iPhone, and the same app runs on iPad. You build them in your browser on any computer, Windows included: no Mac needed.
- Trying it
- Apple's iOS Simulator runs the app on Borel's Mac and streams it into your browser, where you tap and type as on a phone. Free on Pro, and 0.4 credits a minute otherwise.
- On your iPhone
- Borel Companion, free for Windows and Mac, installs the app on your iPhone with your Apple ID: a cable the first time, then Wi-Fi. A free Apple ID holds 3 of your apps, and Companion renews each one every 7 days while it runs.
- Apps just for you
- Keep an app on your own home screen with a free Apple ID: no App Store and no developer account.
- Inside your app
- Borel AI with no API key, accounts with email and password, a cloud database and file storage that Borel runs, Apple Maps, the camera, Face ID, reminders and in-app purchases.
- Free plan
- 5 free credits a day, up to 30 a month; each day's credits last until midnight UTC. Up to 3 apps.
- Pro plan
- From $20 a month for 100 credits, with larger credit tiers, and 20% less paid yearly. Unlimited apps and publishing to the App Store. Prices are in US dollars, tax included.
- Publishing
- With Pro and a membership in Apple's Developer Program ($99 a year, paid to Apple), Borel builds, signs and uploads the app to App Store Connect on its own Mac.
- Your code
- The app is published under your own App Store Connect account, and the code is yours: SwiftUI source you can download, with an XcodeGen project.yml.
- The name
- Borel (borel.one) is the app builder, not the Borel kitchen-timer app or Émile Borel, the mathematician.
- Made in
- Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: info@borel.one.
