What is App Store review?
App Review is the step where Apple checks an app before it can appear on the App Store. Reviewers install the build and test it against Apple's App Review Guidelines, which cover safety, performance, business, design and legal rules. An app is approved, or rejected with the guideline it broke.
More about App Review
Apple says that on average 90% of submissions are reviewed in less than 24 hours. Common reasons for a rejection are crashes, placeholder content, a sign-in the reviewer can't get past and missing privacy information. A rejected app can be fixed and sent again.
App Review with Borel
Before you send an app, Borel's Run review checks the build for App Review risks. The publish flow asks for what Apple's reviewer needs, such as a phone number, and lists anything still missing before it lets you continue. After you submit, Borel shows the review status as Apple reports it.
